Fiber discs are designed for universal grinding applications such as grinding welds, rust removal, deburring or precision machining and surface smoothing.
Used on angle grinders with additional back-up pads.
Fiber discs are made of abrasive grain layer placed on a tough fiber. The most common grain for standard applications is brown alumina oxide, while zirconia and ceramic grain are used where much higher performance is required. In the vast majority of cases, the abrasive is bonded with phenolic resin.

Zirconia grain coated with phenolic resin on 0.8mm thick fiber backing. Pro Line means long service life and aggressive grinding with heavy zirconia grains. Application: steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals.
