TYPE 41 reinforced wheels are a numerous and popular group of universal and special abrasive tools for cutting-off various materials. They are widely used at construction sites, steel construction plants, shipyards, mechanical engineering plants, steel mills, foundry and other industries, as well as in smaller workshops and tool shops. Depending on the size and requirements, they work with a variety of grinders - cutters: manual, stationary electric, pneumatic or petrol.
These grinding wheels have a special reinforcement that allows those with larger diameters to operate at higher peripheral speeds than TYPE 42 tools. TYPE 41 wheels up to a diameter 230 mm can only operate at speeds up to 80 [m/s], but from a diameter of 300 mm already at speeds of 80 and 100 [m/s].
For these grinding wheels, face grinding is not a permitted operation.
