Segments with resin bond are designed for rough and fine grinding of flat surfaces of workpieces made of hard and soft steels, cast iron, cast steel, non-ferrous metals, concrete, terrazzo, stone. Typical applications include grinding circular saw tops, clutch discs, brake discs, engine heads, ring faces, plates, floors, sills, stairs, guillotine knife sharpening.

Resin bonded abrasive segments are used on surface grinding machines with segment heads, on mobile grinders, in grinding units.
